Class 13 2023 - 2024

Welcome to the class 13 page! We’re all excited to be back at college, we have a very busy term planned.

In class we have the following staff supporting:

In class 13, we are following the pathway 3 curriculum alongside our ASDAN accreditation ‘Supporting Aspirations’. Our lessons will have a focus on Preparation for Adulthood and will support the pupils to develop key skills within areas such as: communication, independent living, relationships, health and wellbeing.

This half term we are focusing on the AQA unit ‘Exploring the countryside’ and linking our maths, English, humanities and science to this. We will also be covering creation in RE and first aid in PSHE. Next half term our AQA unit is ‘communicating choices with support’. Our ASDAN accreditation module is ‘My Friendships’ for the whole term.

Please can parents/carers keep us informed about your child and let us know if there are any issues or information that will help us care for your child via the chat book/email.

All the staff in class 13 are more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have and will support you the best we can.
