Hillside Saturday and Holiday Clubs are an extended provision at Hillside Specialist School and College.  It is managed, located and staffed by Hillside Specialist School and College.  It welcomes all children aged 8 – 16 years who have a diagnosis of autism and includes pupils from Hillside and the local community.

As an extended service delivered by the School, the Saturday and Holiday Club is governed by the School Governors and all the School Policies and Procedures apply to the clubs and staff (please refer to our Schools Policy page on the website).

We aim to meet all the needs of your child/children and for this purpose if your child does not attend Hillside Specialist School and College, we want to get to know your child and would ask that the “All About Me” document which will enable us to get to know your child’s likes and dislikes.  You can arrange a welcome visit via the School website or School telephone number.  The visit will need to take place with yourselves on one of the planned session dates.

If you have attended the Holiday or Saturday club before you can book your child’s place through Scopay.

These sessions have been designed to enable your child to experience a wide range of creative and physical activities that will improve their confidence and independence.

The Holiday Clubs are run every holiday period (with the exception of Christmas), the number of days available vary depending on the length of the holiday period.  The Holiday Club runs from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and the Saturday club runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  These sessions are run by experienced School staff. There is a discount if your child is attending with their own Direct Payment Worker.

Payment for both the Saturday Club and Holiday club can only be made via SCOPay, the Schools online payment system. 



OJ’s is a charitable organisation set up purely with the aim to provide activities for

children with autism, learning difficulties and associated disorders.  Their family days and activities are

based on various sites across the Ribble Valley, Longridge and Wyre areas.
